Loan Options

There are two main types of loan options available which are dependent upon the node network being proposed.

  1. Custodial Loans

  2. Non-Custodial Loans

A custodial loan is where the DAO remains in control of the required node stake. This is possible when the DAO can stake and manage it on behalf of the node operator.

A non-custodial loan is where the DAO would issue the loan amount directly to the borrower in good faith. This is necessary when a staking account requires the use of private keys or is on a network where the DAO can't reach.
