# Uncollaterlized Loans

PartyNode acts as an important case study and working model for decentralized, uncollateralized loans based on decentralized lending trust scores.

It's a highly experimental system with some major potential risks. And while it may seem counter-intuitive to the trustless ethos of smart contracts, there is still a major global demographic being underserved that PartyNode looks to provide solutions for while promoting and maintaining true decentralization.
